: My first thought when steeping Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zingerherbal teas.” This lemon tea is daaark, not what I expected at all. The smells are very vivid and the flavor is lemony to the fourth power. Celestial Seasonings continues to lay the refreshing flavor on real thick, adding roasted chicory, rosehips, and the infamous “natural flavors”. The mixture is well accepted and has earned this tea my number one tea…if I feel like drinking lemon tea. was, ”Damn, this is the Blacula of all

: Lemon tea is pretty hit or miss in my book. Much like show biz, you either got it or you don’t. If we continue this metaphor, Lemon Zinger from Celestial Seasonings is a B-rate actor: not good enough for the lead role, too good to be an extra, perfect for a low-intensity supporting role. This herbal tea definitely has its moments. The smell is unbelievable. A delicious mixture of lemon citrus, mild spice, and rose hip sour-flower create one of the most fragrant lemon teas since earth’s inception. The color is a very rich dark red bordering black which is pleasant to observe. The taste is good too, don’t get me wrong, but it is not a replacement for tea. It’s a lemony base with some rose tinges provides a solid background for the slightly peppery aftertaste. I’m a fan of the sour but in this specific instance, the taste is overly so. from
