Bigelow Cozy Chamomile – A Mouthful of Daisies
Dax: From the Bigelow Assorted Herb Teas line comes an herb tea to be reckoned with. Bigelow Cozy Chamomile reopens my acceptance ofchamomile teas. Like the wrapper states, it is indeed soothing as a field of daisies. This is the best tea to chill on, and is my favorite chamomile tea. Unlike other mediciney chamomile teas, Bigelow Cozy Chamomile is buttery like no other and will hit the spot. I enjoyed this tea with a garlic sesame noodle bowl and they were a match made in heaven. I highly recommend you try this one out with a garlic noodle dish, your mouth literally feels like it just won the lotto.
Mike: Dax and I dropped by Dominick’s the other day to stock up on teas and we picked out this herbal tea sampler pack from Bigelow Tea. I’ve tried many teas from the Bigelow Tea company and many have been quite accomplished, sporting a history of taste sensationalism. I decided if I’m going to try herb teas (of which I generally am not a fan), it should be from Bigelow.
Calming chamomile for quiet moments. That’s what it says on the package and you gotta love the alliteration. The Bigelow tea itself can only be described as rich in chamomile flavor, almost overwhelming perhaps. The texture is oily and buttery. The chamomile tea leaves a sort of film in the walls of your mouth to let you know that it’s been there, and it’s not going anywhere for a while. Long after you have finished the last drop, you can feel the camomile tea with every swallow of the saliva.
Chamomile overload for me, but for those that cherish these flowery flavored teas, more power to you.
